As usual, Murfreesboro will be hosting several exciting activities this September, including concerts, wine tastings and much more.

In order to ensure you and your loved ones don’t miss out on these fun weekend - and even some weeknight - activities, we’ve put together this guide to the four main events that are taking place this September in Murfreesboro.

So be sure to get out and enjoy a day or night out on the town with the family this September by attending one or more of these exciting events.

Friday Night Live

The first of many exciting events taking place in Murfreesboro, TN this September is Friday Night Live, which will be held on September 7th.

Friday Night Live is a fantastic opportunity to bring the family out, lay down some blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy a wonderful evening of both great music and fun dancing. The music will be provided by everyday people, so it is sure to be an exciting night of fun.

Admission for Friday Night Live is completely free and will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in downtown Murfreesboro at the Public Square.

Wine Around The Square

Calling all wine enthusiasts: Come out and enjoy a lovely evening of wine, delicious foods and fantastic music from by Steve Long and The Rhythm on Saturday, September 15th.

Along with the wine tasting and fantastic music, their will be a VIP Party, which will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and a late party that will begin after Wine Around The Square officially ends at 8:30 p.m.

Wine Around The Square will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the historic downtown square in Murfreesboro, TN. The event will benefit The Power of Pink, and the admission costs $65 per person. In order to purchase, go online to winearoundthesquare.squarespace.com.

3rd Friday Night Concert Series

If the first concert on September 7th wasn’t enough for you, then there is no need to worry; There will be another fantastic concert held on the third Friday of the month, which will be on September 21st.

As usual, the admission for this concert series will be completely free, and the event is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. and last for approximately two hours. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket and get there early to find the best spot possible.

The concert series will take place at Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, and there will be concessions sold.

Oktoberfest @ Oaklands Mansion

September will end with a bang as Oktoberfest at Oaklands Mansion is set to take place on Saturday, September 29th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The event will include numerous local craft brewers - including Murfreesboro's own The Green Dragon Pub and Brewery - live music from local bands and delicious treats from local food trucks.

Be sure to come out to Oakland Mansion and enjoy an eventful night. Admission ranges from $15 to $40, depending on the type of admission chosen.
