The month of November has a lot of exciting events to offer to the Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee area, and there is something for everyone to take part in. Whether you want a fun family event in which there are exciting activities for your kids or you want to participate in a fun event that supports the local community and charitable foundations, you can find what you are looking for in Murfreesboro this November. The following are four events you are not going to want to miss in Murfreesboro, Tennessee this November.

 

21st Annual Fall Harvest Hayride (November 2nd)


The 21st Annual Fall Harvest Hayride is set to take place this November 2nd at the General Bragg Trailhead in Murfreesboro. The event will feature fun hayrides for the whole family, delicious smores and live music. The fun will begin at 5:00 PM and last until 8:00 PM, and the admission is only $2 and kids 2 years old and younger get in for free. The cost of admission covers one hayride and one s'more. There will also be food stations set up to purchase from as well.

 

4th Annual Veterans Appreciation Day (November 11th)


The 4th Annual Veterans Appreciation Day will be this November 11th at the Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center in Murfreesboro. It is a great opportunity to come out and show your support for the Veterans within our Murfreesboro and surrounding community. The cost of admission is completely free, although you may need to RSVP to the dinner before they fill. The dinner starts at 6:00 PM and goes until approximately 8:00 PM. It is hosted by the City of Murfreesboro, and we encourage all who are interested to come out and show our veterans how much we love them. 

 

Annual Holiday Celebration at The Avenue (November 22nd)


The Annual Holiday Celebration at The Avenue Murfreesboro is on November 17th. At this event, you can shop, shop and shop some more, along with fun events such as kids getting to meet with Santa, the annual tree lighting and much more. Also, one lucky person will win a $1,000 dollar giveaway to put towards their shopping spree, so do not miss out on the fun, free opportunity happening at The Avenue on November 22nd. 

 

Borodash - 4 Mile Run/Walk (November 28th)


The Borodash 4 Mile Run/Walk will take place on November 28th at the Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium on Greenland Drive in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It is a great way to start the Thanksgiving festivities, and all proceeds go to charitable causes. The cost of admission is $40 dollars, and the run will start at 8:00 AM at the Soccer Stadium on MTSU’s campus. You can either participate in the run yourself, or they are also looking for volunteers to help out in a variety of ways to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day of the event. So come out and show your support to local charities this November 28th.
