20th Annual Fall Harvest Hayride (November 2nd)


There is not much more fun for a child than a hayride with the family. Perhaps a close second, children also enjoy eating roasted marshmallows and smores, which children can all do this November 2nd at the 20th Annual Fall Harvest Hayride on W. College Street in Murfreesboro.

Along with the hayride and delicious treats, there will also be outstanding live music, which parents and children alike are sure to enjoy. Admission is only two dollars per person, and children under the age of two get in free. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends around 8:00 p.m.

 

Walk to End Alzheimer's (November 10th)


Come out and show your support for Alzheimer’s care and research this November 10th at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which takes place at MTSU Track & Soccer Stadium from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide. Participants of all ages are welcomed, and the money goes towards an amazing cause, as Alzheimer’s disease affects more than 5.7 million people in the U.S. alone. This inspiring event is for a worthy cause, and anyone who is willing can participate.

 

Winterfest at Fountains at Gateway (Starts November 17th)


Get into the winter mood with a trip out to Winterfest at Fountains at Gateway, which begins on November 17th and runs through January 21st.

This amazing setup is located on the central plaza in Murfreesboro, and it offers a fantastic experience for children and adults alike, who can ice skate in the ice skating rink or simply enjoy the beautiful decorations on the central plaza.

Regardless of whether you bring the entire family or take your special someone on a date, a trip to Winterfest this November is certain to be one you will remember for a long time.

 

Middle Tennessee Choral Society (November 27th)


Finish November off the right way by attending a Christmas concert at First United Method Church at 7:30 p.m. on November 27th. The concert will be performed by Middle Tennessee Choral Society, who will also be combining with the MTSU Schola Cantorum and the choirs of First United Methodist Church.

The concert is the perfect event for a couple or an entire family. Admission is between $10-15 dollars, and it is certain to be money well spent this November 27th.
