Summertime is officially here, and Murfreesboro has exciting summer events to get involved in this July. Whether you are looking for a special place to take someone on a date this independence day or are looking for an event to take the entire family and bond, there is an event for everyone this Independence Day. Now, without further adieu, let’s jump right into four of the more exciting events happening in Murfreesboro, TN this July of 2019. 

 

Celebration Under The Stars (July 4th)

Pool party, great food, family games, live music and fireworks. Sounds fun, right? Well, that is exactly what will be taking place this fourth of July at McKnight Park in Murfreesboro. If you are still searching for the premier destination to take either your significant other or entire family, then look no further than the Celebration Under The Stars. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. with a family-friendly pool party that lasts until 4:00 p.m., at which point family games and live music takes place until the fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

 

Uncle Dave Macon Days (July 12th - July 13th)

Celebration Under The Stars offers exciting music, delicious food and fun games. Fortunately, once it’s over, you do not have to wait long to do it all over again. The Uncle Dave Macon Days starts just a week later, offering live old-time music, fun dancing and great food. It is a family-friendly environment as well, and kids under the age of twelve get in free. The event starts at 2:00 p.m. and lasts until 11:30 on Friday, and 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. The location is Cannonsburgh Village on S. Front Street in Murfreesboro. 

 

52nd Annual Murfreesboro Antiques Show (July 19th - 21st)

If you love finding great deals on antique items, then you are not going to want to miss the 52nd Annual Murfreesboro Antiques Show, which comes to the Mid TN Expo Center in Murfreesboro on July 19th and carries through the 21st. The event will include some of the most respected antique dealers across the country, and you are certain to find something you or a family member will love at a great price. The event is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The admission cost is $7 per person. 

 

Splash Bash at Lucky Ladd Farms (July 27th)

Warm weather and water go perfect together, and this July 27th at the Splash Bash held at Lucky Ladd Farms, your kids will love cooling off on inflatable water slides, in the bubble blast pool and much more. Also at Lucky Ladd Farms is a petting zoo, pony rides and playground. Your kids are certain to appreciate another fun day out enjoying summer before school starts back. The cost of admission for this event ranges from $12 to $14 depending on the age of the person.
