February has a lot to offer the local Murfreesboro and surrounding community this year, including Super Bowl parties, exciting concerts, art festivals and more. Whether you want a fun event with friends or an exciting event to attend on Valentine’s Day with your significant other, there are fun and inexpensive events to take part in this February within the community.

Super Americana Sunday at Hop Springs (February 2nd)
Hop Springs offers a fun and family-friendly atmosphere every weekend, and this February 2nd they play host to one of Murfreesboro’s best Super Bowl parties. The Super Americana Sunday at Hop Springs allows guests to come in on Super Bowl Sunday to watch the big game while enjoying delicious woodfire pizza, smoked wings and beer. Although they typically offer live music, this Sunday is all about football, and they have a projector and multiple big-screen TVs. They open at 12:00 PM and the game starts at 6:30 PM. Hop Springs Beer Park is off of John Bragg Highway in Murfreesboro.

Ian C. Parker Live at Hop Springs (February 8th)
Why not enjoy the fun at Hop Springs two weeks in a row by attending both Super Americana Sunday and live music by Ian C. Parker? Ian C. Parker Live takes place on Saturday, February 8th from 1 to 4 PM. The admission is free, and Hop Springs offers delicious beer and food, along with music that includes folk tunes, classic rock and country covers. Adults and kids alike are welcome to attend, and as always Hop Springs promotes a family-friendly environment(although there will be drinking).

Boro Art Crawl (February 14th)
The Boro Art Crawl is a way for artists in the Murfreesboro area to show off their talent and a way for businesses to show their support for the local artists. It is a free event that takes place on the second Friday of every even month, and the admission is completely free. The event will be held at the public square in Historic Downtown Murfreesboro from 6 - 9 PM. Whether you are an artist, business owner or just someone who appreciates art and wants to support the Murfreesboro community, this is a great event to attend. There is no better way to spend Valentine’s Day with a significant other than going downtown to check out beautiful art.

Southern Equine Expo (February 21st - 23rd)
The 8th annual Southern Equine Expo takes place at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum from February 21st to the 23rd. Throughout the event, there will be horse clinics, hands-on demonstrations, educational lectures from industry leaders and much more. Those who attend can also shop for high-quality equipment, gear and more. The price of admission varies. It will begin on February 21st at 9 AM. Saturday, the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd will also start at 9 AM and end around noon each day. If you are a horse lover - or have children who love horses - then this is a great way to interact with others who enjoy horses as much as you and learn more about them.
